The "Technology Seeds" initiative was launched in 2016 by the Nagaa Khamis Association for Technology and Development (the main Technology Club in Luxor Governorate). It was part of the "Role of Technology Clubs in Community Development" project, in collaboration with the Egyptian Information Technology Fund, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
This initiative aims to educate and empower young people, from the age of 7 to 18, with IT tools that enable them to be producers of technology, not just consumers. It attracts brilliant minds and guides them to use and benefit from information technology. This is in preparation for creating a technological generation that is creative, innovative, and productive, capable of investing in information technology.
It consists of a series of training sessions called the "Technology Seeds Tree". By the end of this training series, students will be able to design and develop a website, create a mobile application, and acquire other skills that will help them integrate into the job market faster and at an early age.
